Health Resources

The Washington County Archway Partnership Project is an official outreach body of the University of Georgia and works in cooperation with UGA Washington County Cooperative Extension. The Archway Partnership Project is designed to deliver a full range of University resources to counties facing significant issues within their communities. In June of 2008, The Archway Partnership Project: Health began in Washington County to help address its challenges related to health and healthcare. The Archway Partnership Project: Health is based on collaboration amongst the healthcare community here, as well as, the community at large and is committed to improving the lives of our citizens. The Washington County Area Health Resource Directory was developed by the Archway Partnership Project: Health as a tool for healthcare professionals and the general public to be able to easily identify the health resources that exist within our immediate area. The goal of this directory is to increase the public’s access to healthcare, thus improving their quality of life.
